Pastor Dan Straw
has been leading the flock or Florida Mesa Presbyterian church for ten years and has facilitated our church growing from approximately 1,000 sq/ft to over 4,000 sq/ft. We now have 2 areas to worship in, a wonderful fellowship hall, classrooms, and an entire youth section.
Dan started his ministry in North Carolina where he grew an exciting Baptist ministry. After "seeing the light" Dan moved into a Presbyterian ministry in Bayfield, Colorado in 1984 and started part-time ministry at Florida Mesa Presbyterian Church in 1987. After 17 years the church had grown to where they needed a full-time pastor and offered the ministry to Dan.
Dan accepted and moved closer to Durango where he currently lives with his wife Kathy.
